A tostonera is a tool used to make tostones. It can vary in size and be made of wood, plastic or metal. There are two types of tostoneras. The first type is a plantain press used to flatten rounds for frying. The second type is used to stuff plantains. During this time, the Taino Indians would use this for the same reason. They would crush plantains to spread for the members of the tribe.

The Talon from the Zemis God was presented for all chief members in the Taino tribe. The chief leaders would wear this item that was from the claw of an eagle. When wearing the piece, the leaders would gain power and good fortune from the Zemis God. It will bring them good luck and will bring them crops for the seasons to come.

Coil Ink pen
Taino Indians would use this item to create detail works of art. They would gather hay, sticks, or any skinny item they can find and wrap it all together. Then they would dip the wrapped items into an ink like liquid to use as a pen. These artifacts would be used to create fine details in the art they made. They would present these images for the Gods and deities to praise them by.
